February the 15th 2003 saw the largest demonstrations globally in the history of mankind. Millions of people on all continents cried out demanding no war on Iraq. Nevertheless the war is a fact, and it's easy to feel helpless seeing that what we did didn't stop the war. So did we loose?

We think not.

We lost if we thought that _this_ war is wrong, or if we wanted to give the inspectors "more time". We lost if we we're trying to appeal to George Walker Bush to seek "other ways" to resolve the "conflict", we lost if what we where fighting for was just peace.

But we're not. We're fighting for justice and peace. Therefor we have to look at the broader picture.

War is not a new thing, in fact it's standard procedure. Either we call it colonialism, civilizing the barbars, christening of hedens, imperialism, war on terrorism or enforcing democracy - it's just the same old tune; the white west robes the world. Business as usual.

The Europeans has fucked the Arabic world since the early dark ages and up till now. The colonialization of Africa, the theft and rape of a whole continent, still is the main reason for wars, poverty and famine for the vast majority of African population. Latin America, USA's "backyard", suffers under despotic rulers, law by rule of gun and incredible poverty after CIA dictated coups and Washington's official and unofficial wars. Do we need to mention the Vietnam war? Or Korea? Or Laos? Or the western business financed coup and slaughter of over a million people in Indonesia?

What's new is that people don't belive the hype.

That's not a small thing. If we are to get anywhere out of this madness, the first thing that has to happened is that people need to understand what is happening, and that we need to make things happened in another way. Knowledge of self and our world - seeing through their illusions of being modern and democratic - is the first small step for mankind towards a modern democratic world.

As most sensible people, Alarmclock Connection took to the streets with what turned out to be maybe the largest mass demonstrations ever, against the forthcoming war on Iraq, February 15th. The same day Norwegian revolutionary rap group Gatas Parlament's album "Holdning over Underholdning" won the Alarm Award (which has no Connection with Alarmclock) for best hip hop album. The album is produced by Jester, who joined GP and DonMartin while receiving the price. GP used the opportunity to thank everybody who demonstrated against the war for oil and profit, while also urging people to see the bigger picture behind what drives the wheels of the war machinery.

The almost annual hip hop festival 2xH in Trondheim went down at Rosendal the 14th and 15th of February. DonMartin & Jester played with Dj Tomas Terror at the opening and later Definite with Alphabetical and Shepherd. Furthermore DonMartin appeared with Definite and Dj Nasty Kutt at Tommy Tee's live National Rapshow broadcast. Jester appeared later in the broadcast with DonMartin and Wolverine as backup and Tomas Terror on the decks. It was a busy day for us. The war and what it's about
The US Empire and it's henchmen are preparing more war on the world. This is neither because they fight for freedom nor because Bush is stupid. It's due to economical necessities within their economy - the ruling economy of the world. From the chilling hillside of eastern Norway:

DonMartin's second solo-ep Radio Alarmclock dropped officially on the 24th of January. The 4 track ep is said to be "100% insurgent music, protesting against the plundering of our world, the inhumane shit the humans inflict on each other and the current state of the world: mayday mayday".

The cd-ep also contains two DonMartin music videos made by Romain Gavras of Kourtrajme Productions, for the older DonMartin track Repaint the Picture and for the newly released Deliver the word. Both tracks feature Jester. The Deliver the word video was rejected by Scandinavian music channel ZTV for showing "disgraceful political behaviour". ZTV, who broadcast from USA's only real allie in the forthcoming imperialistic war for oil and world dominance, chickened out. Our protest of the coming war - which everyone knows is corrupt bullshit - was "disgraceful".

- The large majority in Europe knows this war isn't about protecting the world from Saddam Hussein, but about control over the resources in the Gulf. That's why US henchmen Britain is shit-scared of showing any kind of resistance, especially the kind that can reach beyond the regular "political people", as music and culture can. The first thing I thought was that it really was an honour to be censored as "disgraceful political" by rules of the brutal colonial empire Great Britain, claims DonMartin.

- The control of culture and attitude are some of the most important means of keeping the western population indifferent to how most people suffer, without any justice, security or freedom, not because we can't organize things better but because the rulers deliberately keep it this way. Pumping us all with Ally McBeal and A-teens and no-content superficial-shit makes superficial people who embrace no-content and frown at people who raise any kind of issue at all. They want us watching the screen, not thinking about what's going on. That's why we are dangerous when we burn American flags and do outrages shit. We attack the nerve with a medicine that might actually have an effect. It is, for the gents in control, "disgraceful" to demand of people to question the truth and think for themselves.

As revealed on National Rapshow Friday 13th of December; DonMartin is dropping his second solo release on the 29th of December this year. The mini-ep entitled Radio Alarmclock is said to be short, concise and without compromise.

"From beginning to end, this is a 11 minutes and 37 seconds long ring of the alarm. An emergency broadcast for a world in rapid decay. It was conceived, written and and made while the hawks of oil and and weapons move our planets status from worse to utter insanity. Deliver the word and Blue dot mayday blues are both tracks I just had to get out of my system, more than something I planned to write. But even thought we seemingly aim at killing ourselves, theese are not suicide notes, but letters of revolt and resistance", comments DonMartin on the cover.

Both his album and the now released DonMartin Al Dente Ep was delayed from the original plan because of technical problems which now have been sorted out. From the hills of Norway Alarmclock Connection would like to congratulate everyone on the fact that it is now summer on our side of the hemisphere, and life will move much easier.

The annual norwegian freestyle championship went down thursday 9th of May. We are happy, but not surprised out the frame, to say that Alarmclock's Definite won for the third year in a row. According to sources within Alarmclock this will be the last time Definite will be participating. Three times in a row should state the point.

We have been recieving questions concerning why we publish both the pages and the newsletter in english in stead of norwegian, which of course is the native tongue of our country. Not a stupid question. The answer could be that over half of our subsribers and visitors each month reside in non-norwegian speaking countries. In addition to the nice people downloading mp3's all the way from Finland to Australia, we have also recived severeal visits from US Military and US Goverment computers.

As we enter 2002, the largest financer of terrorists and terrorism in the world is leading a "war on terrorism" which we are yet to see the total consequences of, both in the middle east and for us living in the rest of the world. No one protest, for protesting against the brutes who has the most power is bad for buisniss.

As we enter 2002, the worlds most mighty nation has a half- ape, son-of-a-cia-chief, act-first-and-dont-think, recordholder of executions at the steeringweel, from a mandate won by election fraud after a campain largely paid for by the US weapons industry.

As we enter 2002, the former second superpower of the world is lead by a former KGB officer, coldly calculating for Russias piece of the pie in Kaukasus.

In Mexico, where the president is the former director of Coca Cola, Coke is subsidised by the govertment and is cheaper than water. In Italy the goverment is run by the owner of the largest media corperation who naturally had the largest media campaign.

The list just won't stop, even for the break of dawn. Welcome to another year of famine in the south and food dumping in the north, of war fought for profit, of landmines, shooting demonstrators and smokescreen culture.

Welcome to another year of the modern dark ages. Shine a light if you can.

Alarmclock Click was of course present at the Gothenburg demonstrations against Fort Europe this summer, to protest and play at the Reclaim The City festival at Vasaplatsen. The last was not to happend, as riotpolice attacked and battered the people partying, which eventually led to the shooting of a demonstrator.

Swedish police, who refuse to tell WHO fired the shots, claim they acted in selfdefense when shooting a single demonstrator throwing stones at policeofficers wearing shields and helmets. National Swedish television has documentet that atleast one shot was fired randomly into the crowd at heads hight. On another note, Definite just got back from the Swedish woods. There, Whimsical and himself, has been blessing Apollo's upcoming solo-debut "Nattens Kåbbåj" with respectively rhymes and beats&rhymes. A spokesperson for Universal Music says he thinks their verses was the worst vomit he ever heard captured by a microphone. The lyrical surfer Viballistic has reasently kidnapped Tha Pestokid (Definite) into studio to finish the new Essentials EP and Definites own solo-project. Sources in Essentials says we are dealing with some fly shit. Viballistic denies any rumours of insects occupying his studio.

We would also like to add that in case you didn't know the current reign of power in the world today and in most recorded history is wack. We incourage the majority of the "leaders" of the world to throw themselves out the window, and we aim this especially at the murderers in charge of the United Snakes of America.
